Bresser AC 90/500 - Compact wide-angle refractor for impressive observations of star clusters and the Milky Way
The Bresser AC 90/500 offers ambitious beginners an excellent entry into the world of astronomy. This achromatic refractor combines a large opening of 90 mm with a short focal length of 500 mm, resulting in a bright and wide field of view. As a result, open star clusters, the Milky Way and large nebulae are particularly impressively visible.

The telescope delivers an excellent price-performance ratio and remains interesting even for advanced observers thanks to its expandable design. With the supplied accessories the telescope can be used immediately after unpacking.
For land observation, we recommend a Amici prism For an upright image.
The Nano AZ mount makes aiming extremely easy. Like a camera tripod, it is quick to set up and very easy to use. The sturdy stainless steel tripod ensures stability and vibration-free imaging, while the 3.5 kg carrying capacity is sufficient for telescopes with a Vixen-style dovetail.
Bresser also provides expert post-purchase support and adds the 80-page manual “Telescope ABC” allow any beginner to quickly become familiar with their instrument.

What we recommend
✓ Moon: sharp craters and high-contrast shadows
✓ Planets: highly visible disks of Jupiter and Saturn
✓ Deep-sky: ideal for open star clusters and Milky Way regions
✗ Astrophotography: limited suitability due to short focal length
✗ Earth observation: only with Amici prism
