When observing the moon or planets, the image can quickly become too bright, causing loss of detail. With this variable polarizing filter, you control the light transmission between approximately 1% and 40%. This allows you to adjust the contrast precisely to the conditions and see more details without being blinded.
The filter consists of two rotating parts. By rotating them relative to each other, you can continuously adjust the light intensity. This makes it particularly suitable for the moon, for bright planetary details, and even for solar observation when combined with a specially certified solar filter.
The neutral gray filter glass ensures true-to-life color reproduction without unwanted color tints. Thanks to the 2 “-inch connection, this filter is suitable for larger eyepieces and telescopes that use 2”-inch optics.
