ZWO Camera ASI 715 MC Color

The ZWO ASI 715 MC Color is a high-quality planetary camera that delivers maximum sharpness, minimum noise and true-to-life colors. Thanks to the modern Sony IMX715 CMOS sensor with Starvis 2 technology, you have a resolution of 3864 × 2192 pixels, extremely low readout noise (down to 0.8 e-) and a completely amplifier-free image. This makes this model ideal for planetary photography, as well as suitable for IR applications and small deep-sky objects.

With its small pixels of 1.45 µm, the camera captures fine details without always needing an additional Barlow lens. The high sensitivity in the near infrared allows observations under poorer seeing conditions and offers additional flexibility in infrared photography. Thanks to passive cooling (PCS system), the sensor remains up to 15 °C cooler than comparable uncooled cameras, significantly reducing thermal noise.

The camera is compact (126 g) and easy to mount via the T2 connector or included 1.25″ adapter. With USB 3.0, you enjoy a high frame rate of up to 45 fps, crucial for planetary image stacking. The ST4 port also enables autoguiding.
