The Omegon Camera veTEC 533 C Color is a compact and powerful astro camera for astrophotographers who want to transition to cooled deep-sky photography in one step. The camera uses the well-known Sony IMX533 sensor, a modern back-illuminated chip with high sensitivity and virtually no amp-glow. This results in clean images with excellent signal-to-noise ratio, even with long exposures.
The active cooling system cools the sensor to 35°C below ambient temperature. This makes it easy to consistently calibrate images with dark frames and keep noise low, even on warmer nights. The square 9 MP sensor provides a nice field of view without corner vignetting and delivers true-to-life colors through the built-in color filter array.
The camera has a built-in USB hub, allowing you to connect accessories such as a focuser or guider directly to the camera. This reduces cables and makes your setup cleaner. Thanks to the standard T2 and 2″ connection, it fits virtually all telescopes and photographic systems.

What Makes this Camera Special?
The veTEC 533 C Color delivers the same performance as the well-known ASI533MC Pro, but at an attractive price point and with a built-in USB hub. The absence of amp-glow and very low noise make this camera popular among astrophotographers who want a clean workflow without complicated post-processing. The square sensor offers a versatile field of view for both deep-sky and planetary use
