LRGB CCD filter set 1.25 inches - Omegon

This LRGB CCD filter set from Omegon lets you get the most out of your monochrome astro camera. Whereas color cameras use only part of the pixels due to built-in Bayer filters, a monochrome camera uses the full resolution of the chip thanks to separate filters. The result: razor-sharp, high-contrast astrophotos with maximum detail.

The set includes four filters:

• Luminance (L): lets visible light through and blocks UV and IR radiation. This allows you to capture all the details of your object with maximum sharpness.
• Red (R), Green (G) and Blue (B): these three filters together form the color image. By taking shots per channel and combining them afterwards, a true-to-life color image with full resolution is created.

The filters feature a durable, scratch-resistant coating and have a neutral color balance for deep-sky objects and planets. Thanks to the standard 1.25-inch thread, they fit into filter wheels and filter holders, making it easy to change filters during a session.
