Celestron Telescope AC 100/660 AZ Inspire is a bright refractor with an aperture of 100 mm and a short focal length of 660 mm. Although the short focal length is ideal for large sky objects, color aberration (chromatic aberration) occurs at high magnifications. For sharp planetary and lunar viewing, models with longer focal lengths are more suitable. Application
With this telescope you will admire vast deep-sky objects such as the Andromeda Nebula, the Orion Nebula and open star clusters in the Milky Way. Comets with extensive coma are also easily visible. The moon and planets can be viewed, but because of the short focal length, details such as planetary bands or moon craters are not as sharp as with long refractors. During the day, use the telescope for nature observations with no problem, thanks to its upright image and wide field of view.
