The Omegon Barlow lens increases the focal length of your telescope and offers two key applications:
- Magnification of your eyepiece – double, triple, or quintuple the magnification of your existing eyepieces.

Increase Magnification without Additional Eyepieces
Insert your 1.25″ eyepiece into the Barlow lens and secure it with the locking screw. The lens then easily fits into your Crayford focuser. If you normally have a magnification of 20x, you can increase it to 40x with the 2x Barlow lens, to 60x with the 3x Barlow lens, and even to 100x with the 5x Barlow lens. This makes it a perfect alternative if you don’t yet have an extensive eyepiece set.
