ZWO Helical Focuser 1.25″

The ZWO Helical focuser is designed for extremely precise manual focusing in compact setups. This model is particularly suitable for use in combination with an off-axis guider (OAG) or small astro cameras where space is limited but precision is crucial.

The focuser has a female T2 thread (M42x0.75) on the telescope side and a 1.25 inch holder and male T2 thread on the output side – offering versatile compatibility with eyepieces, planetary cameras, and guiding solutions.

Thanks to the spiral mechanism, the connected accessory does not rotate during focusing, maintaining the orientation of sensors or prisms. The desired focus position can be locked with a set screw to prevent shifting.

With a travel of 6 mm and fine adjustment of 0.1 mm, this focuser is highly suitable for applications requiring micron precision, without motorization.
