The 26mm eyepiece from the Omegon SWA series allows you to bring large stretches of the night sky into focus. The 70° wide field of view gives a panoramic effect, making open star clusters, nebulae and star fields look spacious and detailed.
The optics consist of five carefully placed lens elements in three groups. With full multicoating and lens edge blackening, the image is clear and contrasty with little scatter. The exterior has a tough rubber finish for grip.
The adjustable eyecup (the edge you look against) can be rotated in height for a comfortable viewing position, even with glasses. All SWA eyepieces are also parfocal: when switching between them, you hardly need to refocus.
