This 2-inch yellow color filter from Omegon is a simple but powerful tool for seeing more details during observation. By filtering part of the light, structures and contrast become more prominent. This allows you to better distinguish the polar caps and dust storms on Mars, and the cloud bands and their fine details on Jupiter.
The filter glass is fully colored and mounted in an anodized aluminum housing. Thanks to its thin edge (only 5 mm), the filter also fits seamlessly in a filter wheel or star diagonal. The double threading makes it possible to combine filters for an even more specific effect. The filter comes in a sturdy plastic storage case.
