Explore the universe with a single eyepiece – zoom from 24mm wide-angle to 8mm planetary magnification, without switching.
Key Features
- Continuous zoom range from 24mm to 8mm – select the ideal magnification instantly.
- Wider apparent field of view as you zoom in: 40° (24mm) to 60° (8mm) for an immersive viewing experience.
- Comfortable eye relief of 15-18mm; ideal for eyeglass wearers.
- 1.25″ barrel – compatible with most telescope diagonals and focusers.
- Fully multi-coated optics for maximum light transmission and high-contrast images.
- Robust aluminum housing with rubber grip ring for smooth zooming, even with gloves.
- No eyepiece swapping needed – reduces risk of dust and dew entering the telescope.

Usage Tips
- Start at 24mm. First focus at the lowest magnification for the brightest, widest view of fainter objects.
- Zoom in gradually. Slowly turn to shorter focal lengths to increase magnification. Refocus if necessary.
- Maximum achievable magnification. When seeing conditions or the object no longer allow for a sharp image, return to a lower magnification.
- Filters? Preferably not. Due to the limited thread, we advise against mounting filters on this eyepiece; this may cause damage.
Magnification Calculation Example
Magnification = Telescope focal length ÷ eyepiece focal length
For a 1000mm telescope, this eyepiece therefore results in 1000mm ÷ 24mm = 42× to 1000mm ÷ 8mm = 125×.
