ZWO Blocking Filters UV/IR 1.25″ – improve your color balance and sharpness
Many CCD and CMOS color cameras are sensitive to infrared (IR) and ultraviolet (UV) light. This causes distortions in color and sharpness – especially when using refractors and lens systems. The ZWO UV/IR blocking filter solves this instantly.
This filter only allows visible light to pass through and blocks the UV and IR regions that fall outside the focus range of lenses. Result: improved color balance and sharper stars without halos.
Applications:
- Ideal for color cameras without internal IR-cut filter (such as ZWO ASI294MC, ASI585MC, ASI533MC)
- Recommended for refractors and lenses that are not apochromatically corrected
