In plaats van de optiek af te schermen, houdt het de glasrand een paar graden boven het dauwpunt. Daardoor kan waterdamp er niet op condenseren, ook niet bij hoge luchtvochtigheid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Met 15 cm is dit lint lang genoeg om zowel om een 1,25 inch als om een 2 inch oculair te passen.
