A dew strap works differently than a dew shield. Instead of shielding the optics, it holds the glass edge a few degrees above the dew point. This prevents water vapor from condensing on it, even at high humidity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dit is het langste lint in de Omegon-serie, bedoeld voor telescopen rond 16 inch. Bij een instrument van deze omvang is een goed doordachte stroomvoorziening onmisbaar: reken op een accu en een controller met meerdere kanalen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wrap the band around the tube, directly behind the lens or corrector plate. The flexible design follows the curvature, and the hook-and-loop closure keeps it securely in place, even when you move the telescope.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Regulate power<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

With a controller, you can continuously adjust the heating power. This saves electricity and prevents unnecessary warming of the optics, which can cause air turbulence in the tube at high magnifications.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

All LED strips in this series operate at 12V and have an RCA connector. For stepless dimming, use a controller; without a controller, the strip always runs at full power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
