Even on a cloudless night, high humidity can interfere with your observations. Field mirrors fog up quickly, causing details to disappear. With the Omegon dew tape, your optics always stay clear. Enjoy sharp, fog-free viewing regardless of the weather.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Easy to use<\/strong>
The flexible ribbon fits perfectly around your capture mirror. The Velcro closure keeps it securely in place. Connect it via the 2-meter Cinch\/RCA cable to a 12V DC power source and the heating element does the rest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Smart energy distribution<\/strong>
The dew tape consumes only 0.2 watts per centimeter and keeps the mirror a few degrees warmer than the environment. This prevents dew formation without draining the battery quickly. For added efficiency, you can use a pulse controller, such as the Omegon controller, to control multiple ribbons simultaneously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
