Erger nog: naarmate de nacht vordert en de temperatuur daalt, krimpt de tubus en verloopt de focus langzaam. Opnames van later in de nacht zijn dan zachter dan die van het begin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Een focusmotor lost beide problemen op. De Estia draait de focuser aan op commando van je software, die zelf de scherpste positie zoekt door sterdiameters te meten. De software voert een focusreeks uit, meet bij elke stap hoe klein de sterren zijn en zet de motor op de beste positie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dat scheelt proefopnames. Zodra die daalt, verplaatst de motor de focuser met een vooraf bepaalde factor mee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Je bepaalt die factor eenmalig voor je telescoop door de focuspositie bij twee temperaturen te noteren.
