Omegon Twinmaster AZ Mount with Stainless Steel Tripod: the Twinmaster complete with tripod<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This version of the Twinmaster comes with a sturdy stainless steel tripod. The mount carries two instruments simultaneously, each up to 13 kg, which allows space for larger telescopes such as a 10-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why the tripod matters<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

With two heavy instruments, the tripod determines stability. Stainless steel is heavier than aluminum, and that is an advantage here: mass dampens vibrations. A lighter tripod would not be able to utilize the payload capacity of the mount.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
