You mount the flattener between the telescope and your camera. It works directly with an M48 connection, so you don't need complicated adapters. This way you aim quickly and without fuss.

!["Skywatchers]("https://www.telescoop.nl/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Skywatchers-M48-Esprit-80ED-Flattener-1.jpg" """")

The flattener corrects visual field curvature that becomes apparent with short focal ratios and large camera sensors. This means sharp, clear images, ideal for DSLRs or other cameras you pair with your Esprit 80ED.

The flattener is lightweight and built to last. It stays stable on your telescope and delivers consistent performance, so your images are sharp and clear every time.

This flattener is a practical addition for your Esprit 80ED. It prepares your compact apochromatic for high quality astrophotography both at home and while traveling.

Specifications
