Where eight separate AA batteries quickly fail in the cold and cause resets, this battery maintains a constant voltage.

With a 73.3 Wh capacity, you can power a mount for up to about 8 hours. Via the USB port, you can charge your phone at the same time, which is handy if it serves as a star chart.

Made for telescope use

The included 2-meter 12V cable connects directly to Celestron mounts such as the Astro Fi, NexStar SE, NexStar Evolution, and Advanced VX. The Velcro strap allows you to attach the battery to a tripod leg, preventing the cable from running across the ground.

Safe and economical

Overload, deep discharge, and short-circuit protection are built-in. Automatic shutdown prevents a forgotten battery from draining, and the lithium-ion cell type holds its charge for months during storage.

Featured accessories

This is the logical power supply for any Celestron GoTo mount without an internal battery.
