Visually, such a tube provides wide, bright star fields.<\/p>\n<h2>The mobile center<\/h2>\n<p>The 82ED sits right between travel size and serious aperture: short enough for a medium-weight tracking mount, large enough to capture dimmer targets, and visually capable of showing quite a bit. With a flattener, it becomes a sleek astrograph for full-frame sensors.<\/p>\n<h2>This is how to get the most out of this telescope<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Virtually no cooling time and no collimation:<\/strong> A refractor is ready within fifteen minutes, and the optics stay aligned.
