Classic design with real luminosity

The Skywatcher N 200/1000 200P immediately makes you feel like you're taking a serious step. You look through a 200 mm mirror, so you see more light, more structure and much more detail. Your image remains clear and sharp even when you zoom in further. Ideal if you want to explore deep-sky and still see beautiful planetary images.

"Skywatcher

Clear image even with faint objects

The large parabolic primary mirror lets you see objects that a smaller telescope simply misses. Think spiral arms of galaxies, dark lanes in nebulae and single stars in globular clusters. The f/5 ratio makes the image bright, keeping your observations fresh and contrasty. Perfect when you want to find an object quickly and see it right away.

Tight contrast for moon and planets

The small secondary mirror keeps contrast high. This allows you to see fine details on Jupiter, sharp rings on Saturn and clear shadows on the Moon. Even at higher magnifications, your image remains calm because the optics lose little light.

Ready for astrophotography

The 2″ Crayford focuser gives you smooth focusing without jerking. Your image remains stable when focusing accurately, which is important for photographs. You can also use wide 2″ eyepieces for a large field of view. That way you can fit more of the sky into one view.

Robust, sturdy yet easy to use

The tube remains stable because it is compact and solidly built. Wind or small vibrations have little effect on your image. That makes this telescope suitable for advanced users who want to see more and like to experiment with photography as well.
