William Optics Polar Wedge - Stable alignment for higher widths<\/strong>
With the William Optics Polar Wedge<\/strong> align your SkyGuider Pro much more accurately, especially when shooting at higher latitudes. You place the wedge between the tripod and the mount so that the polar axis rotates nicely with the earth. This keeps your subject in focus longer without shifting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This High Latitude version is made for photographers who go beyond wide angle. The standard wedge works fine for light setups. But as soon as you use telephoto lenses or a small telescope, you find that you need more stability. With this William Optics wedge, you adjust the elevation much more precisely, so your shot stays sharper longer. You get calmer tracking, so deep-sky photos with long exposure times finally succeed without frustration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
