Around the zenith, cameras and filter wheels quickly clash with the legs; with this extension, the setup rotates freely in any position. Additionally, the extra height saves bending when focusing and framing.<\/p>\n<p>The aluminum post is mounted with the included spacers and screws between the tripod and mounting bracket and maintains the rigidity of the setup.
