iOptron iPolar Electronic Polar Scope for SkyTracker Pro: Electronic Polar Finder<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With the iPolar line, you align an iOptron SkyTracker Pro to the celestial pole via your laptop screen. The built-in camera shows the actual pole position and the direction of the polar axis; you bring these two points together using the azimuth and altitude screws.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The software automatically calculates the exact pole position based on date and time. Looking through a small optical pole finder is no longer necessary, and alignment is also successful even if Polaris is not clearly visible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accurate at every location<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The sensitive sensor with a wide field of view finds the correct orientation even after a rough alignment. The iPolar works in both the northern and southern hemispheres and remains usable at low latitudes. Precise polar alignment extends the usable exposure time without guiding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This mount fits the SkyTracker Pro and replaces the optical polar scope. For a lightweight camera mount, this means longer usable exposure times with telephoto lenses, even from a balcony without a direct view of Polaris.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
