With the iOptron CEM120 iPolar Electronic Polar Finder<\/strong> pole alignment finally becomes easy, fast and comfortable. No more uncomfortable positions or endless peering through a small aperture. You see everything clearly on your laptop screen and align your mount perfectly in minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The built-in camera shows exactly where the celestial pole is and where your mount is pointing. By simply adjusting the set screws of your CEM120, you bring both points together. This gives you an extremely precise alignment - with no guesswork and no stress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The iPolar does the heavy math for you. It automatically determines the exact position of the celestial pole based on date and time. Even if the Pole Star is not visible, the software helps you still align accurately. Thanks to the sensitive camera and wide field of view, the system works even in light pollution or thin cloud cover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are you using a Mac, iPhone or iPad? Then you can easily connect the iPolar via the dedicated macOS app or the iOptron iPolar Mobile app. For iOS, you'll need the iMate Astronomy Control Box, which lets you quickly connect between the camera and your device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note that the macOS software is paid and iOS requires additional accessories. Check in advance that your device meets the system requirements for smooth operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
