iOptron HAZ130 Strain Wave Alt-AZ Mount: the fork mount for the heaviest duty work<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The iOptron HAZ130 is the flagship among alt-azimuth strain wave mounts: an all-metal fork mount with a 59 kg (130 lbs) payload capacity, without counterweight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He rotates large Dobson replacements, hefty catadiopters, and dual setups silently and without backlash, with the friction brake acting as a safety net in the event of a power failure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strain wave without polar alignment<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The strain wave gears deliver a high torque without backlash and without a counterweight. Furthermore, as a pure alt-azimuth mount, polar alignment is eliminated: set it up, align on one or two stars, and observe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
