iOptron HAE29B AZ\/EQ Mount Dual SWG iMate: the automated strain wave<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The iOptron HAE29B is an AZ\/EQ mount with strain wave drive (harmonic drive) on both axes. Without a counterweight, it carries 13.5 kg (29.7 lbs) with a head weight of only 3.8 kg. Use it in alt-azimuth mode for quick visual observing or equatorial mode for long-exposure astrophotography.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The B-version has the iMate mini-computer on board and operates without a separate handset: the internal control and the iMate software take over the entire session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PEC correction refines the tracking behavior; the GPS automatically sets time and position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

iMate: complete onboard minicomputer<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The built-in iMate is a 64-bit ARM computer with 32GB of storage and a micro-SD slot, pre-loaded with KStars, Ekos, and INDI drivers. You connect the camera, focuser, and filter wheel directly to the mount, and the entire photo session runs autonomously on board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can monitor and adjust settings via WiFi from Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, or Android. Switched 12V outputs on the cap power your peripherals without loose cables.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Strain wave: power without counterbalance<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The strain wave gears deliver a high torque without backlash, making a counterweight unnecessary in most setups. That saves kilograms of heavy lifting and minutes of setup time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The electronic friction brake on both axes safely stops the mount in case of a power failure, and the power-down memory saves the alignment, so you can continue without re-aligning.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Double saddle, ready for any tube<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The dual saddle accepts Vixen and Losmandy-D rails. For heavier or unbalanced setups, add the optional counterweight bar with counterweight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The head comes with a transport case or bag and without a tripod; it fits on matching iOptron tripods and mounts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
