iOptron LiteRoc Mounting AZ Pro GoTo: alt-azimuth GoTo mounting on LiteRoc tripod<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The iOptron AZ Mount Pro on the 1.75 inch LiteRoc tripod is the portable version of iOptrons alt-azimuth GoTo mount. It has a carrying capacity of 15 kg (33 lbs) with a head weight of only 5.9 kg. This allows it to accommodate refractors, Maksutovs, and Schmidt-Cassegrains up to approximately 9.25 inches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The setup procedure is called Level and Go: level alignment with the built-in level, switching on and the mounting does the rest. GPS and position sensors determine location and orientation, after which the mounting itself rotates to a clear object. You center it and the alignment is complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aligning without prior knowledge<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

You don't need a star chart or polar alignment. The mount itself chooses a clear target for alignment. This makes the AZ Mount Pro suitable for beginners with a serious telescope and for anyone who wants to get started quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Go2Nova 8407+ hand control has an illuminated screen with 8 lines and over 212,000 objects in the database. Wireless control is possible via the built-in WiFi with SkySafari or iOptron Commander; on the PC, the setup works with ASCOM.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

One night on one charge<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The internal lithium-ion battery (11.1 V, 4.4 Ah) provides up to 10 hours of operation at 20 \u00b0C. No separate battery packs or power banks are required. Charging is done indoors with the included adapter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The double saddle accepts Vixen and Losmandy profiles. The retractable counterweight bar keeps the assembly compact during transport; the transport case for the head is included.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
