The Maksutov design is closed and holds its collimation: less air current in the tube, less maintenance, and a sharp image, night after night. The dual-speed focuser focuses precisely at high magnification, the 8\u00d750 finder scope quickly locates objects, and the T2 adapter allows you to connect a planetary camera directly.
