Bresser EXOS-1\/EQ-4 Mount Messier: compact equatorial entry-level<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Bresser EXOS-1\/EQ-4 is a compact equatorial mount for small to medium-sized telescopes, with a payload capacity of up to 7 kg (15.4 lb). The worm gear drive with fine adjustments makes manual tracking smooth and precise: it truly helps you get to know the movement of the sky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The EXOS-1 also has a growth path: with the separate RA motor, the mount tracks automatically, and the separate polar finder makes polar alignment precise. This way, your entry-level mount grows with you without needing replacement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Load capacity in practice<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Seven kilos means: refractors up to about 120 mm and Newtonians up to 150 mm aperture feel at home here. For heavier tubes, the EXOS-2 is the better base.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
