The Bresser AC 90\/500 Messier OTA is a compact wide-field telescope for your own mount. With f\/5.6 you capture open star clusters, the Milky Way, and large nebulae in a single view, and during the day it is also an excellent nature viewer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fast achromatic lens for overview<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The 90 mm lens gathers about 165 times more light than the naked eye. With the 26 mm eyepiece, you get a 19x magnification with a wide field of view. Honest advice: with this fast two-lens design, a blue tint is visible on bright objects at high magnification; this is a wide-field telescope, not a planetary specialist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Which mount fits this?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This light, short optical tube sits comfortably on virtually everything: the Bresser EXOS-1\/EQ-4 mount with tripod (379 euros) is spacious, and a sturdy altazimuth mount or photo tripod with a Vixen clamp will also suffice. Via the Vixen-style dovetail, the tube fits on any mount with a standard Vixen clamp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
