A well-balanced mount moves more smoothly, vibrates less, and does not put unnecessary strain on the motors of a GoTo system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Especially if you add a camera, finder, or heavier tube, the center of gravity shifts and an extra weight is needed.
