Short achromatic with wide field of view<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The 102 mm lens gathers about 212 times more light than the naked eye. With the 26 mm eyepiece, you get 23x magnification. Honest advice: at f\/5.9, some chromatic aberration remains visible on bright objects; this tube is at its best in the mid-range between wide-field and detail, up to approximately 100x.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Bresser EXOS-1\/EQ-4 mount with tripod (379 euros) carries this compact tube just fine; for photography, you choose the Bresser EXOS-2\/EQ-5 mount on tripod (539 euros) or the Bresser EXOS-2 EQ GoTo mount (998 euros). Via the Vixen-style dovetail, the tube fits on any mount with a standard Vixen clamp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
