With the 26mm eyepiece, you observe at 54x; consider around 200x as the maximum (f/14). Collimation is rarely needed. Allow for 30 to 45 minutes of cool-down time for the sharpest image.

Which mount fits this?

The light, short tube rests calmly on virtually any mount: the Bresser EXOS-1/EQ-4 mount with tripod (€379) is generously sized, and a sturdy azimuthal mount with a Vixen clamp also works well visually.

Included

Maksutov optics 100/1400

SP 26 mm Super Plössl eyepiece (1.25 inch)

90 degree zenith prism

Red dot viewfinder

Vixen-Style Split Rings

Featured accessories

The Bresser Plössl 10 mm eyepiece (140x, 29 euros) is the core magnification.
