On wet nights, the glass inside the tube cools down quickly and freezes; this cap significantly slows down that process, so your session doesn\u2019t end prematurely with a blurry image.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additionally, the cap acts as a stray light shield. Light from streetlights or the moon that falls at an angle is blocked, which immediately results in more contrast. And during the day, the cap protects the glass from dust, scratches, and fingerprints.
