The Bresser Messier 150\/1200 Hexafoc GoTo combines f\/8 planetary optics with automatic aiming and tracking. Jupiter remains centered for minutes at high magnification, without adjustment. The included objective solar filter also allows for safe solar observation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

f\/8 optics with Hexafoc<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The 150 mm parabolic mirror captures about 459 times more light than the naked eye. The long focal length of 1200 mm (f\/8) provides high contrast at high magnification: exactly what you want for the Moon, planets, and double stars. With the 26 mm Super Pl\u00f6ssl eyepiece, you\u2019ll achieve 46x magnification; stick to approximately 300x as the maximum. The 2.5-inch Hexafoc focuser with adapters provides stable support even for heavy eyepieces. Use the solar filter only if it is undamaged, and never look at the Sun without certified protection.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

StarTracker GoTo System<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The StarTracker hand controller knows over 100,000 objects and automatically positions the telescope. Servo motors on both axes then track accurately. You can later connect an autoguider via the ST-4 port for long exposures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
