f\/8 contrast on the heavier EXOS-2 mount!<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Bresser Messier 150\/1200 Hexafoc EXOS-2 uses the f\/8 planet lens on the heavier EXOS-2. The long tube requires stability, and this EQ-5 class mount provides plenty of it. The included objective-sun filter also allows for safe solar observations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

f\/8 optics with Hexafoc<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The 150 mm parabolic mirror captures about 459 times more light than the naked eye. The long focal length of 1200 mm (f\/8) provides high contrast at high magnification: exactly what you want for the Moon, planets, and double stars. With the 26 mm Super Pl\u00f6ssl eyepiece, you\u2019ll achieve 46x magnification; stick to approximately 300x as the maximum. The 2.5-inch Hexafoc focuser with adapters provides stable support even for heavy eyepieces. Use the solar filter only if it is undamaged, and never look at the Sun without certified protection.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The EXOS-2 mount<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The EXOS-2 is a German equatorial mount of the EQ-5 class with a payload capacity of up to 13 kg. With the polar finder scope, you can align quickly, and with the slow-motion cables, you can track objects smoothly. If you want automatic tracking later, the mount can be expanded with a motor set or the complete StarTracker GoTo system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
