Unlike a classic Barlow, it works telecentrically: the light beam leaves the extender parallel, making the magnification factor virtually independent of the distance to the camera or eyepiece and keeping the image quality constant across the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This makes the Nomad-5 ideally suited for high-scale planet and moon photography, where you optimally fill the small sensor of a planetary camera.
