A standard zenith mirror flips the image vertically but mirrors it laterally; an Amici prism shows everything exactly as you see it with the naked eye. The 90-degree viewing angle is particularly comfortable for objects high in the sky, such as the moon around the meridian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is how you can turn your telescope into a spotting scope in a jiffy for daytime use: you can view birds, ships, and landscapes in their natural orientation.
