The 254 mm parabolic mirror gathers over 1300 times more light than the naked eye, and the lightweight aluminum truss construction gives you the power of a large telescope without the bulk of a classic tube.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Thoughtful Ultra Light Concept<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The rigid aluminum construction with radial bearings and a balanced rocker box moves smoothly and stably, even at high magnification. The parabolic BK7 primary mirror rests in a 9-point mirror cell, two built-in fans quickly bring it up to temperature, and the secondary mirror spider is adjustable without tools. Fully metal, so no wood and no moisture problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Compact for transport<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The modular design assembles in minutes and packs up just as quickly: all components fit into the rocker box.
