8-inch deep-sky refractor for your own mount!<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Bresser Messier 203\/1000 Hexafoc OTA brings full 8-inch optics to your existing setup. The parabolic mirror captures over 800 times more light than the naked eye: galaxies, nebulae, and globular clusters are well within reach. Via the Vixen-Style dovetail, the tube clicks onto any mount with a standard Vixen clamp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a 1000 mm focal length (f\/5), this tube combines light-gathering power with a usable field of view. With the 26mm Super Pl\u00f6ssl eyepiece, you get 38x magnification; consider approximately 406x as the maximum. The 2.5-inch Hexafoc stably supports heavy eyepieces and camera equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Which mount fits this?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

An 8-inch telescope requires a sturdy mount: the Bresser EXOS-2\/EQ-5 mount on tripod (\u20ac539) is the minimum, while the Bresser EXOS-2 EQ GoTo mount (\u20ac998) is the comfortable choice with automatic tracking. We do not recommend an EQ-4 class mount for this size.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
