The Celestron AstroMaster 130 EQ<\/strong> is the most powerful telescope in the AstroMaster line. The 130mm mirror gathers 345 times more light than the naked eye: in addition to sharp Moon and planet work, nebulae and star clusters are seriously within reach. The short focal length of 650mm (f\/5) provides a wide field of view, ideal for the Orion Nebula, the Pleiades, and vast star fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a one-time alignment, you can track each object with a single rotational movement on the flexible rod. The 20mm and 10mm eyepieces provide 33x and 65x magnification respectively; a realistic usable magnification of up to approximately 260x is achievable with an additional eyepiece or Barlow lens. The LED finder makes coarse alignment easy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
