The filters have half-widths of 7 nm (H-alpha) and 6.5 nm (OIII and SII): an excellent balance between contrast, light yield, and price, in the compact 1.25-inch format. You photograph each line separately with a monochrome camera, after which you combine them into the well-known SHO composites with dramatic colors and structures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because narrowband filters block almost all light pollution and moonlight, you can also photograph with them from the city and during moonlit nights.
