Optolong SHO Filter Kit 7nm 2 inch: everything for the Hubble palette in one set<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With this set, you get the three narrowband filters for the classic Hubble palette in one go: H-alpha, OIII, and SII. The filters have half-widths of 7 nm (H-alpha) and 6.5 nm (OIII and SII): an excellent balance between contrast, light yield, and price. You photograph each line separately with a monochrome camera, after which you combine them into well-known SHO composites with dramatic colors and structures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because narrowband filters block almost all light pollution and moonlight, you can also photograph with them from the city and during moonlit nights. So your setup rarely stands still.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Schott glass, optically polished, with multi-layer ion-assisted coatings: high transmission at emission lines, strong blocking outside of them, and temperature stability. Each set comes in protective storage cases.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
