Optolong SHO Filter Kit 3nm 2 inch: everything for the Hubble palette in one set<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With this set, you get the three narrowband filters for the classic Hubble palette all at once: H-alpha, OIII, and SII. In this top-spec version, all three filters have a full width at half maximum (FWHM) of only 3 nm, for maximum contrast and the darkest background. You photograph each line separately with a monochrome camera, after which you combine them into the well-known SHO composites with dramatic colors and structures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because narrowband filters block almost all light pollution and moonlight, you can also photograph with them from the city and during moonlit nights. So your setup rarely stands still.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Schott glass, optically polished, with multi-layer ion-assisted coatings: high transmission at emission lines, strong blocking outside of them, and temperature stability. Each set comes in protective storage cases.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
