This allows it to support mid-sized telescopes such as a 150\/750 Newtonian or a 100 mm refractor stably enough for visual work and taking the first steps into astrophotography. Stepper motors on both axes and the SynScan GoTo system with 42,900 objects locate and track any target automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After a polar alignment via the built-in polar scope, you select an object on the hand controller and the mount slews to it. The tracking compensates for the Earth's rotation, keeping the moon, planets, and deep-sky objects in the field of view.
