With a payload capacity of 13.7 kg, it can carry medium-sized Newtonians, ED refractors, and complete camera setups with guide scopes. The construction is significantly heavier and stiffer than the EQ5, which is immediately noticeable in the image stability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The SynScan GoTo system with 42,900 objects automatically positions the telescope after a 1-, 2-, or 3-star alignment. The built-in polar scope makes polar alignment quick and repeatable.
