Omegon Reducer 0.7x for 108\/600 Quintuplet APO: your APO faster and wider<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This reducer belongs to a telescope: the Omegon Pro APO 108\/600 Quintuplet OTA. It shortens the focal length by a factor of 0.7x and simultaneously corrects the field of view, tailored to the lens design of precisely this model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the owner of this tube, this is therefore the shortest route to a second, faster configuration: attach a reducer and the same telescope photographs wider fields in a shorter time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Calculated with exactly this perspective<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

A universal reducer is always a compromise: it doesn't know the field curvature of your telescope. This reducer is calculated for the Pro APO 108\/600 Quintuplet OTA and therefore corrects exactly for the curvature and residual aberrations introduced by that optics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The result is a reduced and corrected field: stars remain round into the corners, even on larger sensors.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

What the factor 0.7x yields<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

After reduction, the telescope operates at 420 mm at f\/3.9. The field of view becomes wider and the exposure time per shot shorter, allowing you to collect more signal on the same night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The back focus follows the industry standard of 55 mm: common combinations of filter drawer, filter wheel, and camera fit without calculations.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Three telescope connectors<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

In addition to M68, the telescope side also offers M80 and M90 male threads, allowing the reducer to fit multiple focuser configurations of the 108. The internal M48 filter thread accepts a 2-inch filter without additional back focus consumption.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
