The readout is done at 12 bit, up to 94 frames per second.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In front of the sensor is an anti-reflective window instead of a blocking filter. This camera cools to 40 degrees Celsius below ambient temperature. The dark current thereby drops to a level where faint nebulosity emerges above the noise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because you set the sensor temperature to a fixed value, dark frames remain usable over multiple nights. The adapter sleeve converts it into a 2-inch connection. You can connect a guiding camera or an electronic focuser to them, for example, so that only one cable runs to your computer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The hub works with USB 2.0. Omegon's free capture software can be downloaded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Note: the veTEC cameras do not have an ST4 port and are not intended as an autoguider.
