The parallactic EQ-1 mount tracks objects by rotating a single axis, just like large observatories do. In combination with the 70 mm lens and the long focal length of 900 mm (f\/12.9), this is a patient teacher for the Moon and planets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The achromatic doublet lens with multi-coating combines two types of glass to reduce chromatic aberration.
